Savory Pie Baking Instructions

- KEEP SAVORY PIES FROZEN UNTIL BAKING -

Chicken Pot Pie

Preheat oven to 350*

  • Brush the top of the pie with egg wash (1 lightly beaten egg & 2 Tbs. of water)

  • Sprinkle the top with fresh thyme, salt & pepper - Optional

    Depending on your oven:

    For full 10” pies - Bake for 1.5 hours to 1.45 hours

    For Petites - Bake for 1 hour to an hour and fifteen minutes

    For Minis - Bake for 45 - 50 minutes

  • Check for a golden top crust & firmness when you push on the side crust

    * If you have to exceed the recommended baking time, cover the edges with aluminum foil & bake in 10 minute increments

Shepherd’s Pie & Veggie Shepherd’s Pie

Preheat oven to 350*

  • Brush the top of the pie with 2 Tbs. of melted butter

    For full 10” pies - Bake for 1 hour to 1.45 hours

    For Petites - Bake 1 hour to 1.15 hours

    For Minis -50 minutes to an hour

  • Remove from the oven 5 minutes before done, add the gruyere cheese to the top & return to the oven for the remaining time

    *If you have to exceed the recommended baking time, cover the edges with aluminum foil & bake in 10 minute increments
